ArtRieve LLC is a delivery/courier service that delivers requested documents and articles from libraries to customers who place an order with us. We simplify library-patron connection only and customers are solely responsible to determine their obligations under copyright law.
Users of our service are responsible to obtain, as needed, copyright clearance from publishers or Copyright Clearance Center (CCC) directly.
If you would like ArtRieve LLC to pay copyright clearance costs on your behalf, we provide such service with a deposit account or credit card number on file. You may specify maximum amount of copyright to be paid per document and per billing cycle. We will notify you in case if processing a document will exceed such limit. Copyright fees vary widely, an average at about $22 per article.
Any use or misuse of the copyrighted works is the sole responsibility of the customer, including, but not limited to, failure to get copyright clearance, where it is required, from the copyright holders. In no way should ArtRieve LLC, it's partners, employees, associates, directors, officers, agents, vendors or suppliers be held responsible or liable for any action or inaction taken by the customers in regards to copyrighted works delivered by ArtRieve LLC and resulting direct or indirect loses or damages arising out of or in connection with the use or misuse of such copyrighted works or ArtRieve LLC services.
